This recipe only requires 10 minutes of prep, uses only a few ingredients, and is a surprise attack for your children (and family and friends) to try avocado!
Total Time: 55 Minutes (Prep - 10 Minutes / Cook - 45 Minutes)
Servings: 16 Brownies
Ingredients
2 ripe medium avocados, diced
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened natural cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
Arrange a rack in the middle of the oven and heat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat an 8x8-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
Place the avocados, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until smooth, 12-15 pulses.
Add the flour, then pulse until the flour is completely incorporated, 8-10 pulses.
Transfer the batter to the pan and spread into an even layer.
Bake until the edges pull away from the sides of the pan and a thin knife inserted into the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes.
Cool completely on a rack before slicing and serving.
