Crock Pot Cranberry BBQ Meatballs

Meatballs are a popular choice for a holiday appetizer. But this is a sure way to make sure that yours standout from the crowd and fit the holiday theme! Best of all, you barely have to do any work!


Total Time: 2 Hours, 5 Minutes (Prep - 5 Minutes / Cook - 2 Hours)

Servings: 25-30 meatballs


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen home-style meatballs

  • 18oz bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce

  • 14oz can whole berry cranberry sauce

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground clove

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice Optional Garnishes: fresh parsley, orange zest


Instructions

  1. Add frozen meatballs to the crock pot.

  2. In a small bowl, add BBQ sauce, cranberry sauce, maple syrup, cinnamon, clove, allspice and orange juice. Using a whisk, stir everything together.

  3. Pour sauce over meatballs. Using a wooden spoon, gently toss the meatballs to cover them in the sauce.

  4. Cook on LOW for two hours.

  5. Garnish, if desired, with fresh parsley and orange zest and serve.
