Craving a burger today? Skip the McDonald's drive thru (and Burger King and Wendy's too) and make your own burger with ground turkey instead of beef. This recipe will pack a punch of flavor.

Total Time: 20 Minutes (Prep - 10 Minutes / Cook - 10 Minutes)

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey meat

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Favorite burger toppings and cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add ground turkey meat. Mix mustard, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt and black pepper, paprika, cumin and garlic.

  2. With your hands, mix ingredients together and form into 4 patties.

  3. Heat a skillet on the stove on medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the pan and add patties. Cook for 5 minutes on one side or until brown, then flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

  4. Serve on your favorite bun (or lettuce leaves) with your favorite toppings.
